Gaile Merritt-Murrell

Having been actively employed and involved with the Halton Catholic District School Board for several years, I have had, and continue to have the privilege of collaborating with dedicated staff, students, parents, guardians, and Trustees. I also currently have two children enrolled in HCDSB.

Over the years, I have held various volunteer positions for charitable organizations and consistently advocate for supporting those in need.

Currently, I am engaged in outreach efforts for marginalized communities in Toronto, particularly those experiencing homelessness. It is deeply fulfilling to witness the joy and gratitude that come from offering help, and I find the simple smiles of appreciation to be the greatest reward.

In the past, I served as Co-Chair on the Catholic Parent Involvement Committee, and sat on a few other committees at HCDSB, such as the Uniform Committee, Calendar Committee, and the Celebration of Staff Committee, to name a few.

As a faithful Catholic, I am grateful and humbled to serve on the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation.
