Mike Amatiello

I have been blessed to work for the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) for almost 15 years. During this time, I’ve had an opportunity to work in both the Secondary and Elementary panels. This experience has allowed me to work and interact with students and staff in all regions of the School Board.  

As a resident of Halton, and a former HCDSB student, I understand the opportunities and challenges that families face in this region. I have joined the Halton Catholic Children’s Foundation (HCCF) Board of Directors to help support students and provide them with the educational experience that all children deserve.   

Outside of school, I am with my young children, Olivia and Adriano, who love to swim, play and read. We are parishioners of St. Bendict Church in Milton. I look forward to when they will be old enough to attend an HCDSB school. When I have a free moment, I enjoy playing and watching a variety of sports, and listening to audiobooks and music.
